Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Last Updated: July 2025
1. Overview and Applicability
Double M Merchandise Inc., a New York corporation doing business as Evolution Workforce (referred to as “Evolution Workforce,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with all applicable data privacy laws. This page—accessible via the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our website footer—explains your rights and our practices regarding the sale and sharing of personal information.
This page is intended for California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). We also extend the same opt-out rights to residents of other U.S. states with comparable privacy laws (for example, Virginia, Colorado, and Connecticut). In the sections below, we outline the information and procedures you need to know to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal data, including how we recognize Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. We have written this policy in a tone and structure consistent with our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Cookie Policy to ensure it integrates smoothly with our overall compliance program and contractual commitments.
For your convenience, we have provided an opt-out request form at the bottom of this page. You can fill out and submit that form to let us know that you do not want your personal information to be sold or shared.
2. Required CPRA/CCPA Footer Link
California’s Consumer Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) (an amendment to the CCPA) requires businesses that “sell” or “share” personal information to provide a clear and conspicuous link on their website homepage and privacy policy titled “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.” In compliance with this requirement, we have added such a link to the footer of every page on the Evolution Workforce website, as well as within our Privacy Policy. Clicking that link brings you to this dedicated page. Here you can easily submit an opt-out request using the simple form at the bottom of the page, without needing to create an account or log in.
We also do not require you to verify your identity beyond the basic information necessary to locate your data (if applicable). Any information you provide in an opt-out request will be used solely to fulfill that request.
3. Applicability to Other States
While the “Do Not Sell or Share” link is specifically required by California law, Evolution Workforce extends the same opt-out rights to residents of any state that grants consumers the right to opt out of personal data sales or targeted advertising. If you are a resident of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or any other state with a comparable privacy law, you can use this page to exercise your opt-out rights. We strive to respect consumer choices uniformly across all jurisdictions, so this single mechanism covers opt-out requests from everyone eligible.
4. What “Sell” and “Share” Mean
Privacy laws define “selling” personal information broadly to include any transfer or disclosure of personal data to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. “Sharing,” as introduced by the CPRA, specifically means disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising (targeted advertising), regardless of whether any money is exchanged. In practical terms, sharing can include situations where we work with advertising or analytics partners who use your information (such as your website activity or unique identifiers) to profile you and show you targeted ads on other websites or platforms. Because of this broad definition, the law now requires the “Do Not Sell or Share” link — even exchanging data for targeted advertising without money is considered a form of selling or sharing.
5. Our Practices
Evolution Workforce does not sell your personal information for monetary compensation—we do not exchange your data with third parties in return for payment. However, we do use third-party analytics and advertising tools on our website that may involve disclosing personal information for advertising or measurement purposes. These activities could be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under the broad definitions in certain privacy laws. For example, we utilize Google Analytics to understand our website traffic and improve your experience, the Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel) to reach our audience on social media and measure advertising effectiveness, and HubSpot for customer relationship management and marketing analytics. These tools may collect information about your device and your browsing behavior on our site (such as pages you visit, links you click, and form submissions). The data collected (e.g., cookie identifiers, IP address, and usage details) can be shared with the respective third-party providers (Google, Meta/Facebook, HubSpot) and used to analyze your activity or serve you tailored advertisements. Under the CPRA and similar laws, this kind of data sharing for targeted advertising can be deemed a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, even though we do not receive any money for it.
Because we engage in these practices to enhance our services and marketing, we give California consumers (and others) the opportunity to opt out of this type of data sharing. By opting out, you are instructing us not to disclose your personal information to third parties for advertising or any purposes beyond what the law allows. We will honor your request by ceasing or limiting any data flows that would constitute selling or sharing your information. For instance, we will prevent certain third-party tracking technologies from collecting data about you on our site, or enable available settings (such as “Limited Data Use” modes) to restrict how our partners can use your information.
It is important to note that any personal information we handle strictly as a service provider, or that is considered confidential under our agreements with clients (for example, information about placed employees or client data entrusted to us under a Master Services Agreement or Statement of Work), is not sold or shared for advertising purposes. Such data is kept under strict confidentiality and used only to provide our services in line with our contractual obligations. In summary, this “Do Not Sell or Share” policy is mainly focused on information we collect from website visitors and marketing contacts. We manage that information in accordance with our legal duties and Evolution Workforce’s commitment to data privacy and security.
(Note: If our business practices change in the future such that we begin selling personal information, we will update our policies and honor opt-out preferences accordingly. As of the effective date of this policy, we limit our data use to what is described above.)
6. Opt-Out Explanation
We want to make it easy for you to exercise your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Below we explain how you can submit an opt-out request and what happens after you do so. You have multiple methods to let us know your choice (including the form on this page, email, phone, or a browser signal), and we will process your request as quickly as possible—typically within a few days and no later than the 15 business days allowed by law:
Web Form / Online Request: You can use our online “Do Not Sell or Share” request form (available on this page). The form asks for only a few pieces of information—such as your name, email address, or a device identifier—needed to identify your records and honor your opt-out request. Simply fill out the form and submit it to let us know that you do not want your personal information sold or shared. We will not require you to create an account to make this request, and once we process your opt-out, we will confirm that your choice has been honored (for example, via a confirmation message or email).
Email or Phone: If you prefer not to use the online form, you can contact us directly to opt out. Send an email to info@evolution-workforce.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell/Share Request,” and include your name and any relevant details in the email. You may also call us at +1 (212) 400-1650 and inform us that you want to opt out of the sale or sharing of your data. Our team will record your request and apply the opt-out to your personal information in our systems. (If you email or call, we might need to ask for a bit more information to accurately locate your data, but any additional details you provide will only be used to process your opt-out request.)
Browser or Device Signal (GPC): You can also use a privacy preference signal such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser is configured to send a GPC signal, our website will automatically treat that as an opt-out request for that particular browser or device (as explained further in the next section). This means you might not need to manually submit a form or send an email at all—the browser signal itself communicates your opt-out request to us.
7. After You Opt Out
Once we receive your opt-out request by any of the methods above, we will stop selling or sharing your personal information as you have instructed. In practical terms, this means we will disable or restrict any third-party cookies, pixels, or similar technologies on our site that collect your data for advertising purposes. For example, after you opt out, visits to our site will no longer be shared with Meta for retargeting or with Google for personalized advertising profiles. You may still see advertisements, but those ads will not be based on your past interactions with our site.
In addition, we will refrain from disclosing your personal information to third parties except for purposes allowed by law (for instance, providing information to our service providers for legitimate business needs like website hosting, or sharing data as required to comply with legal obligations). Your decision to opt out will be respected going forward. If you have an account or profile with us, we will record your preference so that it remains in effect unless you later decide to change it.
8. No Retaliation or Degradation of Service
Exercising your opt-out rights will not cause any degradation in the quality of service you receive. We will not deny you our products or services, charge you different prices, or deliver a lower level of service just because you chose to opt out. In fact, the CCPA prohibits businesses from discriminating against consumers for opting out of the sale of personal information. Our goal is to ensure you feel comfortable using our website and services, knowing that you have control over your personal data.
9. Scope and Duration
Be aware that an opt-out request usually applies only to the specific browser and device you use at the time of the request (especially for cookie-based tracking preferences). If you access our site using multiple browsers or devices, you may need to submit a separate opt-out request on each one, or make sure you have enabled GPC on each browser, so that we stop selling or sharing your data in all instances. Likewise, if you clear your browser cookies, the opt-out preference saved in those cookies might be erased, and you may need to opt out again. We apologize for this inconvenience – it is a limitation of current browser technology.
However, if we are able to connect your opt-out request to other accounts or identifiers you have with us, we will apply your choice across those as well. And if you ever change your mind and want to opt back in to personalized advertising, you can let us know (for example, by contacting us or adjusting your cookie preferences if that option is available). By default, once you opt out, we will maintain that opt-out setting unless and until you explicitly decide to allow sales or sharing of your data again.
10. GPC Signal Recognition
Evolution Workforce honors Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as part of our commitment to consumer privacy and legal compliance. GPC is a technical standard—a browser or device setting—that broadcasts a “Do Not Sell or Share” preference to the websites you visit. In other words, if you enable GPC in your browser (or use a browser extension that supports it), your browser will send a signal to us and other sites indicating that you do not want your personal information to be sold or shared. Under the CPRA and other emerging state laws, businesses must treat GPC (and similar signals) as a valid opt-out request from the consumer. We fully comply with this requirement.
How We Respond to GPC: When our website detects a GPC signal from your browser, we treat it automatically as if you had submitted an opt-out request through one of the methods above. You do not need to click the “Do Not Sell or Share” link or fill out any form — the GPC signal on its own is enough. As soon as we detect a GPC signal, our site will try to automatically disable any third-party data transfers that would be considered selling or sharing your information. For example, if GPC is enabled in your browser, we will not load marketing pixels or advertising cookies that would share your data, and any analytics tools will either operate in a privacy-preserving mode or be suppressed entirely for advertising-related functions. Keep in mind that the opt-out via GPC applies only to the specific browser or device sending the signal. If you use more than one browser or device, you should enable GPC on each one to ensure a complete opt-out.
Legal Recognition of GPC: California was the first state to explicitly require businesses to honor signals like GPC, and now other states are following suit. For example, Colorado’s privacy regulations designate GPC as an approved universal opt-out mechanism for Colorado residents, meaning businesses must treat it as a valid opt-out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing of data. Similarly, privacy laws in Connecticut and other states will enforce the recognition of browser opt-out signals in 2024–2025. We have implemented GPC signal recognition for all users, regardless of which state you live in, to provide a consistent and robust privacy choice. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we will honor it the same way for everyone, not just Californians.
What is Global Privacy Control? GPC is a relatively new tool developed by privacy advocates to provide consumers with a simple, one-step way to opt out of data sales. GPC functionality is available in certain browsers (such as Mozilla Firefox, DuckDuckGo, and Brave) or can be added via browser extensions (like Privacy Badger and others). Once GPC is enabled, your browser includes a special header or signal with each site request to communicate “Do not sell or share my data.” You can learn more about GPC on its official website or in your browser’s settings. Importantly, using GPC does not share any personal details about you with websites; it simply communicates your preference. We consider GPC signals an effective way to honor your rights without requiring extra effort on your part.By recognizing GPC signals, we make sure your opt-out rights are honored in a smooth and effortless way. We do not charge any fee, alter your user experience, or ask you for additional information when we receive a GPC signal — we simply act on it as the law requires. (In fact, if a business processes opt-outs entirely through GPC signals, regulations allow an exemption from having to display the “Do Not Sell” link at all; however, we still provide the link to be extra clear and accommodating.) In practice, if you have GPC enabled, you may notice that our site skips certain cookie banners or “Do Not Sell” pop-up prompts because your preference is already known. And if the GPC signal is detected after you’ve already set some preferences on our site, we will still apply the stricter privacy option to honor your opt-out intent.
Confirmation and Questions: Since GPC works automatically in the background, you might not get a specific confirmation when we honor a GPC signal. However, you can always verify that it’s working by using online tools or by contacting us directly to confirm that we received your browser’s GPC signal. We keep records of all opt-out requests, including GPC signals, and treat them with the same importance as requests submitted through our forms, email, or phone. If you have any questions about how GPC works or about our opt-out process in general, feel free to contact us at info@evolution-workforce.com.
